10am–4pm Thursday 18 October 2018
Do you have an interest in engineering and IT? Want to see what tomorrow’s technology will bring? Join us at Endeavour, where you’ll discover engineering and IT for the future.
Run by the Melbourne School of Engineering, we encourage members of the public, high school students, industry and government to attend. Projects crafted by our final-year engineering and IT masters students will be on display, and you’ll have the opportunity to meet the next generation of engineers and IT professionals.
How everyone – including high school students – can get involved
We welcome the public to play a special part in Endeavour and help us select the winners of two awards:
Vote in the ‘Road to Endeavour’ contest
Want to get behind the scenes of Endeavour and receive a sneak peek of the projects on display? Follow our Road to Endeavour teams as they video blog their milestones, challenges and achievements in preparation for the annual Endeavour Exhibition.
Remember to vote by liking your favourite video on YouTube. The team with the most votes will win the Road to Endeavour first prize, a share in the grand prize of $2,000.
Vote for the Endeavour ‘People’s Choice’ award
Nominate your favourite project and go in the draw to win a $100 JB HiFi voucher. Voting only takes place on-site at the event, so be sure to ask one of our friendly volunteers for assistance. The winner will be notified after the event via phone and the winning project of the ‘People’s Choice’ award will be announced at the Endeavour Awards Night.
Project students, Endeavour volunteers, Endeavour ambassadors and industry sponsors and partners participating in Endeavour are not permitted to vote.
How current students can get involved
There are two volunteer programs available to University of Melbourne students. As part of these programs, you can gain extracurricular experience and be a part of an exciting community. Benefits include:
- Leadership experience and skills development
- A certificate of recognition
- The opportunity to network within the engineering & IT community
- Eligibility for the Leaders in Communities Award.
