When you sign up to participate in the Endeavour Exhibition Semester 2, you will have the opportunity to present your engineering and IT skills to industry and gain access to several activities and benefits.
These activities and benefits are exclusively offered to Endeavour project students, so make sure you take advantage while you can. Find out more below.

Endeavour briefings and workshops
Endeavour workshops provide you with the opportunity to gain advice and boost your professional skills, focusing on posters, risk assessment, and presentation skills.
Please note that dates and times are subject to change.
Endeavour Information Session
Wednesday 2 August, 4:00pm
This is a briefing session to run students through everything they need to know about participating in the Endeavour Exhibition Semester 2. There will be time for a Q&A with the Events Team to answer any questions you might have.
Poster design workshop
Tuesday 15 August, 3:00pm – 4:00pm
This workshop will assist your team in developing your project poster. You will have the opportunity to gain tips and advice for creating an effective and engaging poster that will help boost your marks and attract more attendees to your booth.
Pitching Workshop
Wednesday 24 August, 1:30pm – 3:00pm
This workshop will teach your project group how to:
- Engage with a general public, in-person audience in an exhibition setting
- How to ‘sell’ your project to industry members
- How to prepare a pitch
Risk management workshop
Wednesday 30 August, 3:00pm – 4:00pm
This workshop is to assist you in gaining a better understanding of risk and the risk matrix, how to conduct your risk assessment and how to fill out the form for your project group. It is compulsory for every group to submit a risk assessment that covers the risks of exhibiting.
Prizes and awards
Endeavour project students will be eligible for one or more of the prizes and awards presented at our Endeavour Awards Night.
Endeavour Awards Night
Participating project students are encouraged to attend the Endeavour Awards Night. Hosted on the evening of the Endeavour Exhibition Semester 2, the awards night presents winners for Departmental Awards, Industry Awards and People’s Choice Awards. There will be light canapes, refreshments and live music for students to celebrate the wrap up of their project.
Volunteer
Engineering & IT students who are not in their final year are invited to participate in our volunteering program. Gain extracurricular experience, network with industry members, and meet some of the University of Melbourne’s senior academics.
