About the award
Innovations in analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation are creating immense performance and productivity opportunities for businesses and the wider economy, as they redefine everyday life and disrupt age old industries.
Imbue Capital is a hedge fund designed for the future, investing in global financial markets by utilising the latest innovations in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
The Imbue Capital Award will consist of one first prize award of $2,000 awarded to one final-year engineering or IT student project team participating in the Endeavour Exhibition. The prize is open to project teams from across the Melbourne School of Engineering.
This prize is intended to promote the intelligent and creative application of software engineering to craft performance or productivity improvements.
To apply, submit the completed application form in PDF format via email to firstname.lastname@example.org by no later than 5pm Monday 10 September 2018.
- How the project utilises innovative software engineering processes to drive performance and/or productivity gains (for example, what the project is and how it utilises engineering theory and design for performance and/or productivity outcomes).
- The extent of the project’s potential contribution to delivering performance and productivity gains (for example, the potential impact that this project could have on its contribution to the business sector and wider society).
- Quality of the prize application and Endeavour Exhibition display
