Engineering and IT students who are not not in their final year are invited to participate in our two volunteering programs. Gain extracurricular experience, network with industry members, and meet some of the University’s senior academics.
Endeavour is the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology’s flagship event and is therefore a large operation. With this comes the opportunity for students to participate in either of the two volunteering programs.
It is also a fantastic way to give back to the community.

Endeavour Student Volunteer Program
The Endeavour Exhibition also offers various volunteer opportunities for University of Melbourne students to aid in the management of the Engineering and IT flagship event.
Between Tuesday 19 October and Wednesday 20 October, student who volunteer will have the opportunity to assist with pre-event set up and on-the-day support, working between four available portfolios:
- Endeavour Awards Night
- Marketing and promotion
- Student liaison
- Venue management.
This is a great opportunity to expand your individual and professional skills. If you are passionate about self-development and would like to promote Engineering and IT to the future generation, we welcome you to join us.
There will be compulsory briefing sessions held on Tuesday 7 and Thursday 9 September. You will only be required to attend one of the sessions.

Endeavour Student Ambassador Program
The Endeavour Student Ambassador Program offers successful applicants the opportunity to be involved in a program aimed at supporting the Endeavour team in the management of various portfolios including: Marketing; and Event Planning & Management.
The Endeavour Student Ambassador Program is open for current Engineering and IT Student Ambassadors to apply. Tasks will commence from Week 4 to the lead up of the Endeavour Exhibition on Wednesday 20 October 2021.
