Discipline Awards

Award winners and merit award recipients will receive a monetary prize.

Award winners will receive up to $750 per person

Merit award recipients will receive up to $500 per person

The Endeavour Discipline Awards are generously funded by the Melbourne Engineering and Information Technology Foundation, which provides ongoing scholarships and prizes based on academic merit and financial need. The Foundation focuses on building financial and community support through partnerships with industry, alumni, and other groups committed to enhancing the student experience within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology.

The Discipline Awards will be presented across a range of fields, including:

  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Computing and Information Systems Engineering
  • Electrical and Electronic Engineering
  • Engineering Management
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Infrastructure Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Mechatronic Engineering

Please note: disciplines may vary depending on participation in each category.

All exhibiting project teams are automatically considered for these awards - no separate application is required. 

Throughout the semester, Project Supervisors will review your work (without notifying you), and judges will shortlist projects based on these reviews.  Please note, shortlisted teams will not be notified.

Judges will visit shortlisted teams during the Endeavour Exhibition’s public opening hours on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, so have your pitch ready! Winners will be announced at the Endeavour Awards Ceremony that same evening.

Industry Sponsored Awards

The Industry Sponsored Awards recognise outstanding student projects that align with key areas of interest to our industry partners. These awards are generously supported by leading organisations who are committed to fostering innovation and emerging talent in engineering and IT.

Applications for the Industry Sponsored Awards will open on Monday, 3 August 2026.

People’s Choice Award

The award winner will receive up to $2,000 per project

The merit award recipient will receive up to $1,000 per project

Each project booth at the Endeavour Exhibition will feature a unique QR code that attendees can scan on the day to vote for their favourite project in the People’s Choice Award.

All exhibiting project teams are automatically considered for these awards - no separate application is required.
